LEGALIZE DRUGS, TAKE THE MONEY
Rep. Coble is a useful tool in the hands of the international drug
cartels if he sincerely believes that illegal drugs, and not the
prohibition of drugs, will bring this country to its knees.
Elements in the American government are themselves major participants
in the international drug trade. They profit from the trade in both
prohibited drugs and weapons. As former Secretary of State George
Schultz said, the illegal drug trade is the greatest moneymaking
machine the world has ever known. And who controls the money, the
money supply, and the way it is spent?
If the government were serious about restricting the supply of money
to terrorists, it would promptly legalize the prohibited drugs and
take the money itself. Since it does not do that, but instead spends
money on "enforcement" efforts that do nothing but eliminate
competitors in favor of the chosen few. Its true intent is obvious:
continuation of a phony "war on drugs" to go along with the phony "war
on terror." Generations of low-level violence will be the result, and
people like Rep. Coble, in their ignorant sincerity, will be to blame.
