MILFORD SCHOOLS ATTACK FROM BOTH ENDS

The Milford school district had a long and productive history of
helping teenagers who were dealing with drug rehabilitation by
partnering with an organization called Kids Helping Kids. They opened
their doors to many students during the difficult months of starting
new lives drug-free. However, this approach was attacking the problem
from the back end. Last week they became proactive by infiltrating the
network that sells to the students. I commend them. Those who
criticize this action are missing the bigger picture. Drugs are like a
cancer - removed before it spreads, the chances of saving the
"patient" (in this case the student body) from its devastating effects
are greatly improved.
