MILFORD ARRESTS SEND STRONG MESSAGE

We have had a longtime drug problem in our school systems across our
nation, and I applaud the actions being taken to get a handle on this
("Milford bust top secret," April 3). I can only hope that this action
will lead to more positive actions and that this is only the
beginning. We need as a whole less denial and more admission to the
reality of drug use in our schools and society at large. I hope more
parents will begin to see this as a real issue to be dealt with and no
longer swept under the rug - as in favorite sayings like "not my
child," or "not this school."

Keep up the good work; keep reporting on this issue. To get kids off
drugs, we all need to get involved.
