KNOWLEDGE IS THE REAL POWER
Are higher standards needed in the newspaper or should we be requiring
higher standards from our legal system which is more worried about the
rights of drug dealers?
The role of a newspaper is to report and write the most recent happenings
in our city. Sadly, with the decline in our society and city, these are the
headlines.
Shocking words in bold letters with disturbing photos are sometimes needed.
As parents you need to know what is going on in schools to educate and
protect your children and to voice your concerns to schools and the
district. Knowledge is power.
We all need to work together - the city, churches, residents - the future
of our children is in our hands. Are you part of the problem or part of the
solution?
To the Abbotsford/ Mission Times thanks for your courage and tenacity in
keeping us informed of the happenings in our city, keep up the good work.We
need to be aware rather than be ignorant.
