CRITICISM OF JUSTICEWORKS CAMPAIGN IS JUST

I'm sorry to say that I found Bill Maher's response to my criticism
of Justiceworks and their promotional campaign for an $80 million
"Justice" Center to be sad and disappointing. My real neighbors know
that I am certainly no criminal and need no rehabilitation.

I have always sacrificed to make Point a better town. I was born
with a serious heart problem, and I medicate myself as best I can in
a manner that is legal in most of the civilized world, including the U.S.

Thousands of poor and working residents of Portage County that Bill
and his co-workers at Justiceworks drag off the streets to finance
their prison-industrial complex are no criminals, either. As I
pointed out before, they are arrested for activities that numerous
law enforcement employees and their families have engaged in
themselves. Only greedy hypocrites steal the homes and bank accounts
of their friends and neighbors for things they know aren't criminal
activity just to pad their wallets.

Bill's comments on Adam and Eve sound like they came from a speech
by Adolph Hitler, legally elected and a mindless supporter of law
and order. If Bill would read further into his Bible, he would find
that its authors continuously denounce lies, greed, and hypocrisy.
It mentions a Judgment Day where the oppressors are made to pay for
their hypocrisy: "And the first shall be last."

Justiceworkers are no more unpaid volunteers than Barry Alvarez is
an unpaid volunteer for the Badger Booster Club. The two judges and
district attorney pictured in one of Justicework's' promotional
photos alone grabbed nearly $1 million for themselves in just the
last three years. The list is endless.

If this were 1930, Justiceworks would be financing themselves by
arresting thousands of citizens for brewing a bottle of beer or wine
instead of growing a marijuana plant. But, Bill, you can have a
glass of wine, because people didn't follow your advice, struggled,
and overturned this unjust Prohibition. Do the same! We need
justice-not a bankrupting concentration camp.
