INCONSISTENT POLICIES

To the editor:

It's all right there in your Daily News-Miner. Ted Stevens and his
eagerness to use the "nuclear option" and stand up for the U.S.
Constitution. Yet he is unwilling to stand up for Alaskans' rights to
privacy guaranteed to us by the Alaska Constitution.

Likewise, Mr. Murkowski, thankfully willing to stand up to the Feds
regarding our trails systems, is seen bending over in front of the Feds
when it comes to our privacy rights in the Marijuana Bill 74. Where I come
from, your inconsistency shows a distinct lack of character. Thanks for
showing us your true colors and distinct lack of character, Mr. Stevens and
Mr. Murkowski.
