LOCK THE DEPUTY UP

Re: Man shot by deputy in drug raid dies, April 14.

I find it hard to believe that a highly trained SWAT team and deputy
would feel so threatened by a 19-year-old who according to his family
was sound asleep on the sofa.

How is it that drugs are so rampant in middle class and well-to-do
white communities, yet the young, black and poor are shot and killed
by police and military-style SWAT teams on a regular basis?

Even on the surface this reeks of cold-blooded murder, and in a
community that is already devastated and starving for economic
development, please, I say lock the deputy up!
