ADDICTION RECOVERY FACILITY TO EXPAND WITH $50,000 GIFT
A Glen Valley facility that helps former addicts find a new purpose in life
has been given a major boost.
Wagner Hills Farm has received a $50,000 gift from the Vancouver Foundation.
The money will be put towards a capital expansion project that will see two
new buildings constructed this spring. The expansion will allow Wagner
Hills to work with more than 50 residents at a time.
Wagner Hills is a Christian organization that supports men with addictive
lifestyles, and helps them experience hope and healing by serving others
who are still facing addiction.
Wagner Hills hosts an Assault on Addiction, with live bands, family events,
a craft sale, and entertainment, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., on June 4 and 5.
A ground breaking ceremony for the new construction will take place at 3
p.m. on June 5.
