BRING ON THE POLICE STATE
RE "Pot bust pains mom," (April 26): Well, kudos to the police for nabbing
such a terrible threat to society!! We all know how dangerous those sick
people in wheelchairs are!! And how dare she prevent organized crime from
making a profit!! Not to mention she's not buying her medicine from the
government!! How terrible!!
I for one am glad my tax dollars will go to prosecute her!! Good job!! They
should have tasered her while they were at it!! Bring on the police state
- -- I know I will feel safer!
Enough sarcasm: This case should be tossed right out - and the police
should be reprimanded. Perhaps they could actually go and arrest someone
who is a threat to the community, like armed robbers, rapists and murderers
- -- oh, but that would require a little bit of danger, and of course we
don't want our police forces to get into a dangerous situation -- that is
after all what they are paid for isn't it? Avoiding danger at all costs?
