DOOBIE-SMOKING DWARFS OFF THE WALL AT HEAD SHOP

Halifax (CP)-- The owners of a Halifax head shop have painted over a mural
that depicts the seven dwarfs with drug paraphernalia.

Sweet Leaf Smoke Shop owners Colleen and Kenny Banks had a painting done on
their store nine months ago that featured the dwarfs holding a doobie and bong.

The city intervened after a neighbour complained and gave the couple until
May 1 to deal with the problem. They eventually agreed to get rid of
everything but the dwarfs. But after being asked last week by Walt Disney
Co. to remove the images, the dwarfs were also whitewashed.
