FROM ONE DRUG CASE TO ANOTHER

As one drug investigation wended its way through courts, another one started
for Abbotsford police officers.

Last week Monday, two experienced drug officers were leaving the courthouse
after attending for a drug trial when they noticed a drug transaction taking
place at a nearby service station.

The officers arrested two occupants of the 1988 Chevrolet Blazer and seized
approximately $5,000 in crystal meth. Officers also found a knife, a
throwing star, scales, customer lists, a stolen credit card and a stolen U.S
passport.

Charges are pending against a 41-year-old Aldergrove man and his 18-year-old
female companion from Abbotsford.
