FORMER DRUG DEALER DISPUTES INSPECTOR'S STUDY
Re: Drug dealers mostly Canadian born, not immigrants, new study says, May 16
I have sold drugs down at Pigeon Park and I can tell you Vancouver Police
Inspector Kash Heed's study might have been true 10 years ago. But,
although I'd like to agree with him, now it's mostly immigrants selling
drugs. They're not Honduran millionaires, but are there to make money in
our consumer society. They buy into the gangster image we project onto
them. They are more dangerous, highly motivated and don't care about our
laws because they feel they can always sneak back into Canada.
Heed's study is bunk and he will get all kinds of pats on the back, but
once again the square peg will not fit into a round hole.
