WHAT ABOUT GETTING THEM TO QUIT?
Re: "Lowe sees drug remedy in Europe," May 20.
In this article about a possible future supervised drug-injection site, I
read about housing for addicts, psychological counseling, drop-in centres,
medical treatment, prevention of overdoses, free heroin and needles.
There was no report on the success of getting the addicts off the drugs.
Would this figure not be an indication of the ultimate success of this program?
