BUM HIGH COURT

The Supreme Court decision to allow the feds to go after sick and suffering
people for using and growing the herb marijuana is not a decision based on
compassion, but one compelled by the needs of the federal government and
big corporations. Marijuana busts are a steady source of income for law
enforcement, lawyers and corporate-run prisons.

There are about 700,000 busts a year resulting in fines, property seizures
and jail sentences. What a rich harvest it will be! Now the feds can go
after the sick and the dying!

The Supreme Court decision ensures the pharmaceutical industry will be able
to force drugs on people at the normal 2,000 percent mark-up. Never mind
those drugs don't work well and have their own side effects!

This is just one of the many ways the Bush administration will be able to
pay for those soft-money campaign donations from the pharmaceutical
industry! The Supreme Court decision is a slap in the face of the
democratic process within a state. Think of the time, money and effort it
took to get the medical-marijuana laws on the books!

Freedom of personal choice means nothing to those who feed the beast of
tyranny. To all those countries that George Bush wants to bring "democracy"
to, here is another fine example of what they have to look forward to!
