NOW, STATES' RIGHTS ARE GOING TO POT

Editor, Times-Dispatch:

First Congress passes a federal law insisting
on keeping Terri Schiavo alive; now the Supreme Court says it's okay
for federal marshalls to bust down doors and arrest glaucoma and
terminally ill cancer patients who smoke marijuana.

States' rights are fine as long as the Republicans agree with the law,
but when they don't agree, look out, states!

What concerns me as much is that, this time, I've ended up on the
same side as Clarence Thomas, one of the dissenting Justices. Oy!
