POT EASIER TO BUY THAN BOOZE

I recently read of a police officer's concern that the legalization of
pot would lead to kids gaining easier access to the drug.

This is totally false.

As a mid-1990s school graduate, I know good pot was much easier to
find than alcohol because, unlike booze, you didn't need an adult to
buy it.

Decent pot is, by contrast, readily available.

I believe pot should be legalized and taxed. Once legalized, the
distribution of illegal pot should be considered a federal crime.

This may help curb teenage marijuana addiction.
