COURT BANS POT, BUT NOT DEADLY CIGARETTES
Our wisest judicial minds have determined it is legal to use cigarettes,
which cause lung cancer in millions of people, and illegal to use cannabis,
which relieves pain and reduces nausea for a tiny portion of our population.
(According to the American Lung Association, lung cancer killed more
than 1.2 million people in the 10-year period between 1993 and 2002.)
Once again, the Supreme Court has ignored the mountain while devoting
months of nitpicking over a grain of sand.
