WHAT ABOUT MARINOL?

Don't be distracted by the red herrings put forth by the marijuana
legalization lobby. "Medical marijuana" is available and has been for years
in the form of a safe prescription drug called Marinol.

I don't believe an ethical physician who adheres to his or her oath would
advise a patient to smoke a substance containing unknown amounts of active
ingredients and other toxic chemicals.

I don't believe drug reform activist Stephen Heath (June 19 letter) is so
ignorant that he is unaware of the availability of Marinol.
