MISCARRIAGE OF JUSTICE
Am I the only one appalled?
A police officer is found with pounds of illegal drugs in his home,
including cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamines, ecstasy, mushrooms
and drug paraphernalia. He walks away a free man.
His excuse? He didn't realize those drugs were there. He apparently
didn't realize there were drugs present, despite them being on the
bed he slept in and next to his uniform.
Either he's lying or ignorant. One has to question how he became a
police officer. How does he not know there is a drug party going on
in his own abode? What does this say about our legal system? Would
his fate have been the same if he was a blue-collar worker? I doubt it.
Every person I have talked to finds this miscarriage of justice disgusting.
