FAIR MINDED

Dear Editor,

Pretending to speak for "rural Nebraskans," Owen McPhillips wrote:
"The drug legalization lobbyists can say whatever they want," and
"They can cite statistics until the cows come home."

Clearly, McPhillips has made up his mind and is not about to disturb
it with any inconvenient facts.

I would like to think that most "rural Nebraskans" are more
fair-minded than that.
