USE SAME TACTICS AS WITH 'DRUGGIES'

Re: Obesity now on Ontario hit list, July 14.

If the government's "war on fat" goes half as well as its "war on
drugs," then there should be a dramatic increase in obesity over the
next decade. Why don't we spend billions every year arresting and
incarcerating obese people like we do with drug users? Maybe Tim
Hortons could be reclassified as a "drug cartel?" Obesity already
causes more deaths each year, and is a much bigger strain on our
health-care system than illegal drugs, so why not use the same
tactics with fat people as we use with "druggies?"
