DRUGS FUND HOME-GROWN TERRORISTS

Editor:

In response to Rhonda Abitbol, Casper, inmate NCDC, (letter, July 14):

Drugs are a crime against people, nations, peace, humanity and children.
Essentially, drug money trickles into the hands of bad people. Terrorists,
drug lords, dictators and religious fanatics are just a few. Proven facts,
for Rhonda!

When she gets out of jail and when her girlfriends get out of prison, they
and she should start thanking every citizen of Wyoming. Why? Because now
their children have a fighting chance in a cruel and ruthless society,
which people like her have created. Their children now have no worries
about whether Mommy will pay for food, clothes, rent, utilities or buy
drugs. No worries about whether Mommy is coherent enough to drive to the
local drug dealer to get her fix. No worries about who Mommy will drag in
and out of their home. No worries about whether Mommy is a walking STD.

Where is my conscience? My conscience is hard at work with tax dollars.
Where is my justice? My justice is knowing that she and people like her rot
in jail. When she wakes up, Rhonda should look into that metal mirror and
ask herself, "How have I contributed to the drug epidemic and terrorism?"

Rhonda should know, "I am outraged. Outraged!" that she believes a sex
crime is any different from an drug crime. Are there emotional effects? Are
there physical effects? Is there a long-term healing process? Medical
issues? Psychological issues? Death results? Moral issues?

While she and her girlfriends make excuses and blame others, realize: 1)
that she is a criminal, 2) her bond should be raised or is appropriate, 3)
her children will finally be at peace, and 4) she should practice how to
say thank you.

Rhonda and her girlfriends are terrorists of the worst kind. They are
homegrown! Their drug use aids and funds global terrorism to harm this
nation. Their drug abuse puts fear and uncertainty into the lives of their
own children. They terrorize their own flesh and blood and ask where is our
conscience; where is our justice.
