SCHOOL DISTRICT HELPS OUT SAY "NEIGH" PROGRAM

To the editor,

The Kelowna Okanagan Mission Lions Club and Okanagan Division, RCMP
Veterans Association would like to thank Central Okanagan school
district for their valuable contribution to the Say 'Neigh' to Drugs
colouring contest for Grades 1 through 6 as part of the RCMP Musical
Ride presentation on August 7th.

Hugh Gloster, director of instruction and his extremely able
assistant, Gillian Thomson enthusiastically supported the coloring
contest and arranged for the material to be distributed to the various
schools within the district and selecting the winners.

In Hugh and Gillian we see an example of leadership when they see a
worthwhile cause, support it and follow through to conclusion.

Well-done Central Okanagan school district. You have helped leave a
legacy in the minds of many youths by saying 'Neigh' to Drugs.
