U.S. HAD TO GO AFTER EMERY
Marc Emery is selling marijuana seeds via the Internet.
And he is profiting from it.
I'm not surprised his supporters have put up a smokescreen by claiming the
U.S. is coming to attack one of our own.
What choice does the United States have?
Doesn't America have the right to make its own laws and enforce them?
Aren't the nation's laws a reflection of the desire of the people of America?
Whether anyone wants to accept it or not, Americans have the right to
pursue Emery in the same way they can pursue anyone who comes into their
country to flout their laws.
The U.S. has a different view on things. And it has that right.
If we cross its border to impose our view, then we must be also willing to
suffer the consequences.
There's no hiding in the folds of the Mother Country's apron.
