EMERY DESERVES CANADIAN JUSTICE

So Marc Emery, the Vancouver Prince of Pot, is in danger of extradition to
the United States.

It seems that he may have broken several Canadian laws, and if that is so
we should be able to throw the book at him. But let it be a Canadian book:
Surely Canadian law applies here, not American.

Are we really so supine as to accept American authority here? We are having
trouble with our sovereignty over Hans Island, but at least we should make
sure that Canadian justice prevails here, not American.
