Turnabout is fair play

Re: " 'Prince of Pot' arrested: Marijuana seed business raided at U.S.
request," The Journal, July 30.

Canada is lax on marijuana seed sales. The U.S. believes the flood of
Canadian cannabis endangers American citizens and orders the RCMP to
arrest businessman Marc Emery. Canadian law enforcement quickly jumps
to follow DEA marching orders.

The U.S. is lax on cheap handguns. Canada believes the flood of U.S.
weapons endangers its citizens. Can we look forward to Ottawa ordering
the FBI to arrest American gun dealers? I doubt it.
