POT SEEMS SO TRIVIAL COMPARED TO OTHER ISSUES
I wonder if Americans take comfort in knowing that the "Prince of Pot" has
been apprehended.
A man who sold seeds to grannies, AIDS and cancer patients is somehow a
darker menace to society than Osama bin Ladin, or perhaps the hijackers of
Sept. 11 (who were all known to authorities in 1999)?
Associating pot growers with the horrible tragedy in Alberta is ridiculous
- -- that maniac had guns too. Should we place all gun owners in the same
category as him? Of course not.
Think of all the time, money and lives that have been wasted on this
ridiculous prohibition.
For once, a letter awhile ago made sense -- if we weren't so worried with
trivial things like pot, maybe we could address issues that really matter.
