Drugs - Re: "Here's a way to hit drug lords in the wallet," Kevin Brooker,

I agree to permitting the sale of all drugs, hard or soft, on the open
market as we now distribute alcohol. It would eliminate most crimes and
cause mass emigration of the pushers to lands more suitable to their trade.
But, why stop there?

Let athletes be free to employ any performance-enhancing drugs they need to
establish new record achievements. If somebody wants to attach explosives
to his heels to jump higher yet, let him do so, as long as he pays for
replacement feet himself and does not further clog up the waiting lines for
health-care services.
