MARC EMERY: EXTRADITION UNLAWFUL

Dear Editor,

I am deeply concerned about the potential extradition of Marc Emery. As an
American citizen and taxpayer, it is deeply disturbing to me that my tax
dollars could be spent to extradite a law-abiding Canadian citizen.

If Emery is guilty of a crime, he should be tried in Canada, under Canadian
laws.

The more frightful thing is what could occur next: will the U.S. begin
extraditing Canadians who perform gay marriages for Americans who come to
visit?
