RECORD GROW-OP BUST MADE IN SASKATCHEWAN
Regina (CP) -- Police have trucked away thousands of marijuana plants worth
millions of dollars in what is being called the province's biggest pot bust.
"[It was] a very high-valued crop with lots of money and lots of work
involved," RCMP spokesman Corporal Brian Jones said.
RCMP officers counted and packed up 7,592 marijuana plants Sunday that were
found growing in makeshift greenhouses on a farm on the Pasqua First Nation
community, about 20 kilometres west of Fort Qu'Appelle.
