GROW OP PUT FAMILIES IN DANGER

Another fire for the Abbotsford Fire Department that called out five
trucks, dozens of men and women firefighters, police and all the kids
in the neighborhood.

As one officer pointed out, it was very lucky it happened during the
day as the houses that are very close together, likely would have been
damaged or destroyed as well.

The selfish actions of this homeowner put two families with small
children in danger.

Though neighbors suspected, none of us knew what actions to take to
find out for sure what was going on, or realized what the dangers
really were. Maybe we need some education from the police as to what
to do when you "think" there is a grow op in your neighborhood.

The fire was detected by one of the neighbors while dropping off kids
and emergency services were quickly called. Thanks to everyone's swift
action disaster was put aside, and many of the neighbours came out to
hang out with each other and catch up, while watching some of the
action. One benefit has come from all this, our neighbourhood got to
know each other just a little bit better.
