Extradition: Trial anywhere is a good trial
Dear Editor,
Until organized society has no need for rules and regulations with which to
keep the peace, when borders will no longer exist between nations, it would
be counter-productive to tie the hands of law enforcement agencies further
than they already are.
Whether Marc Emery or anyone else is prosecuted in Canada or the United
States, in Victoria or Ottawa, for breaking the law, it should never be
allowed to invalidate the legal system, as Andrew Ethridge suggests [Marc
Emery is a hero, Aug. 12 Letters, Langley Advance].
