A FAULTY CONNECTION
Re: "Target Practice - Wake up, North Texans. You're vulnerable," by
consultant Natalie Davis, Sept. 11 Points.
It looks like a member of the "prohibition camp" is trying to start a rumor.
Drug dealers are businessmen who happen to be engaged in the sale of an
illegal substance. There is no motivation for a drug dealer to get involved
with a terrorist group. Drug dealers are trying to make money. Why would
they try to kill their best customers?
Drug dealers also have networks that are easily compromised. No Islamic
terrorist worthy of the name would have anything to do with a drug dealer
for fear it would bring law enforcement scrutiny.
