SUPPORT CAPELESS AND THE LAW

In response to the advertisements purchased by the Concerned Citizens
for Appropriate Justice, who believe that District Attorney David
Capeless is being too hard on their children, I have two things for
them to consider.

1) This is the first time your child got caught. How many times
before have they not been caught? And how many ounces did they have
those times?

2) Is the message they want to send to all the children of Berkshire
County, "It's okay to have and sell drugs?" That's what this looks like to me.

Or, are they saying it's just okay for their children to have and
sell drugs? To me, having and selling drugs makes you a drug dealer.
Period. It's like being a little pregnant. You either are, or you
aren't, and in the end you have the consequences of your choices to
deal with for the rest of your life. Maybe these so-called concerned
citizens should spend more time teaching their children to be decent citizens.

This citizen supports District Attorney David Capeless and his
enforcement of laws as they are written.
