TROOPERS ARE OFTEN CORRECT IN SUSPICIONS

I read your story about Ohio State Police troopers being chastised for
"profiling" non-whites as suspected drug runners. The majority of
these people are Hispanic, with blacks a close second. In virtually
every case, the troopers were correct in their suspicions and they
found major quantities of drugs in the suspected vehicles. These were
major quantities of drugs that did not get a chance to ruin lives.

I say to the troopers involved: Great job, guys and gals. Keep up the
excellent work doing what you were trained to do.

They must not let their politically correct superiors coerce them into
believing that they should give up the chase when they see that the
driver of the car is either Hispanic or black.
