IMPORTANT TO STOP THE FLOW OF DRUGS
Besides being minorities, the listed suspects in the Sunday story,
"Minorities targeted, records suggest," all have the same thing in
common: All were caught transporting large amounts of drugs across our
state. I, and I would imagine others, do not care about the tactics
law enforcement agencies use to stop the flow of drugs coming into our
communities.
If the tactics (developed by years of training and actual use) used by
the Ohio Highway Patrol and other area law enforcement agencies worked
on getting $16.3 million worth of drugs (the amount of seizures added
up in the article) out of our society, then let them continue. If you
are white, African-American, or Hispanic, and traveling on the Ohio
Turnpike or any other Ohio roadway and not a drug courier, you have
nothing to worry about.
