COMPULSORY DETOX DESERVES A TRY
Re: "Attack heroin addiction through compulsory detox," Nov. 27.
David Staples has put into words my own misgivings about supervised
shooting galleries for drug addicts and, soon, free drugs. These are
not the answer to increased heroin addiction and increased crime to
support that addiction.
Compulsory detoxification could be a solution and we should give it a try.
