Re: Legalize the sale of drugs

A very refreshing reminder of the elephant in the room when we bicker
over how to end gun violence -- the criminalization of drugs. The
legalization of drugs would remove the criminal element and the
potential profits. It worked for alcohol.

There would be no more turf wars. This is the fastest way to end the
senseless killings. When that is done we can tackle the other major
issue amongst those who are killing each other and that is poverty.
If that requires money we will certainly have it after saving
billions now being used on the hopeless and self-serving war on drugs.
