METH NOT A SCOURGE
Regarding your editorial The Scourge Must Be Stopped (Dec. 13): I see that
prohibition is working as well as it always has. This "scourge" will not be
stopped unless and until crystal meth and other currently illegal drugs are
legalized. Prohibition is failing -- always has, always will.
Besides, there is no more reason to punish drug users and distributors
today than there was in the past to hang witches, lynch blacks or gas Jews.
