BETTER STAY OUT OF THE U.S.
Pauline Beaulne, who says, "I wasn't arrested, I was rescued," in the
Vincent Ball story of Oct. 15, may think she was lucky to be arrested
but I wonder if she would think the same if she had been sentenced to prison.
It could easily have turned out that way and probations for drugs are
notorious for revocation due to the fact that addiction's main
symptom is relapse so she may yet experience this feature of modern
drug salvation.
Here in the U.S., for instance, we have almost 2.3 million souls who
have been saved by the tender ministrations of our insane prison
system and the number grows every day. Stay out of the United States,
home of the Drug War, Miss Beaulne, lest ye be saved here!
