WELCOME TO THE PEACE 100 SNOWMOBILE RALLY
Congratulations To Both The Nipawin Elks And The Nipawin Royal Purple
Lodges For Again Hosting This, The 16th Annual Peace 100 Snowmobile Rally.
Nipawin Journal -- Welcome to the PEACE 100 Snowmobile Rally
Congratulations to both the Nipawin Elks and the Nipawin Royal Purple
Lodges for again hosting this, the 16th annual PEACE 100 Snowmobile Rally.
This continues to be a major project of the Saskatchewan Elks and
Royal Purple Associations.
The PEACE 100 is an excellent example of community partnerships
wherein we have Police and Elks Assisting Community Education.
Through this partnership with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, we
can help deliver education programs to young people that can and does
make a difference in their lives.
On behalf of Elks of Canada and on behalf of the parents of children
in Saskatchewan, we extend our sincere thanks to all of you who have
helped raise funds for the PEACE 100 Snowmobile Rally.
Whether you have sold tickets, are a participant, an organizer or a
contributor, we thank you for making a difference in the lives of our children.
We know all the proceeds support several drug awareness programs
within the province.
We all know the effect of substance abuse and the accompanying
violence associated.
The message "DARE to Resist Drugs and Violence" is certainly one
which needs to be promoted in our fight against substance abuse in
our communities.
To all the participants of the PEACE 100 Rally, I, on behalf of the
Elks of Canada, wish you all a fun-filled safe weekend.
Take pride in knowing that you have contributed to the well being of
our greatest resource - our children - and helped make this province
a safer and better place to live.
The Elks, the Royal Purple and our Police are committed to working
together to help our children combat the dangers of addictions and
provide them with the tools to resist drugs and violence.
You have helped us carry on this struggle!
