CANADA MUST RESIST

Pierre Lemieux's "The three witches" (Feb. 13) is a wake-up call to
those who think their own prejudices should be codified in sumptuary
laws. Our freedoms don't have long to live. The drug war has acted as
the thin edge of the wedge, but the forces of intolerance and
plutocracy are getting stronger by the day. If we do not stop them
soon, we won't be able to. Canada must resist the bullying of the
Washington cabal; there are things happening here in the U.S. that
are incredibly frightening for anyone who loves liberty.
