Elderly couple in wrong house at right address hospitalized An elderly man
and woman were hospitalized with injuries Wednesday morning when Horn Lake
police raided a house reported to be the site of an illegal methamphetamine
laboratory.

It was the right address, but the wrong house, authorities said Wednesday.

Capt. Shannon Beshears of the Horn Lake Police Department said the
department's Tactical Apprehension Containment Team stormed a house in the
6700 block of Allen Drive about 4 a.m. after receiving a tip that a
methamphetamine laboratory was in operation there.

The heavily armed TACT team members typically wear black uniforms and face
masks when they enter a building.

"We had good information from a reliable source that had been backed up by
a purchase of narcotics linked to the address," he said.

"However, when we arrived at the designated address, there were two houses
on the lot. We hit the larger of the two houses.

"It was the wrong house," he said. "The house was totally dark and the TACT
members went through to the bedroom looking for the suspects."

A man and a woman -- both in their 80s -- were injured as TACT team members
secured the house although no drugs were found.

There were children in the house also, but they were not awakened.

Beshears said the woman received a dislocated shoulder and the man received
bruised ribs. Both were taken to Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto, but both
asked police not to identify them.

"When we went to the second house on the lot, we found a methamphetamine
cook under way and we made an arrest of a woman in connection with that
illegal operation," Beshears said.

Police charged Sonseeaharay Lyn Fells, 36, with manufacturing a controlled
substance. She is being held in the DeSoto County Jail in Hernando under a
$100,000 bond.

Beshears said that prior to the raid on Allen Drive, police made a purchase
from William Clinton Pruitt, 41, who subsequently was arrested in Southaven.

Pruitt was charged with manufacturing a controlled substance and the sale
of a controlled substance. He is being held in the county jail under bonds
totaling $200,000.

And police obtained a warrant for the arrest of Minor Ray Bostick, 49, of
Horn Lake, charging him with manufacturing a controlled substance.

No officers were injured in the raid, Beshears said, and the materials and
equipment from the meth lab were removed by a de-contamination team Wednesday.
