Re: "Marijuana carries real health risks," Oct 26.
The argument for keeping cannabis illegal and continuing the long
failed drug-war approach is weak. The health risks involved with
marijuana use still pale in comparison to the mental and physical
harms caused by alcohol and tobacco abuse, but we're not running
around arresting people for their choices regarding these legal substances.
