VICTIM WAS A SISTER AND AUNT - MORE THAN 'JUST A DRUG ADDICT'

Re: Dale Bass's Dec. 6 column ('Remembering at the River'):

I'm sorry it has taken me a while to write this.

I want to give my deepest condolences to Jane Gelderblom and Rick
Skoreyko and family for the loss of Raeanna Wiley.

Jane and Rick stood behind her and always welcomed Raeanna back home.
She was not just a drug addict. She had a heart of gold. She would
give her coat off her back for the homeless.

She would sit and listen to people's tough times.

I wish she could have seen how beautiful, talented and caring she
was.

It's unfortunate her addiction took over.

I wish she could have seen within herself to all of her
qualities.

I'll always remember her heart of gold and Raeanna as a sister, a
caring aunt, a daughter of a patient and a caring mom.

She was not just a drug addict street person.

To those who need help, please reach out in memory of Raeanna
Wiley.
