GOV'T MAY BE ABLE TO VIEW PRIVATE HYDRO BILLS
The provincial government has introduced a new bill that would allow
municipal governments in B.C. to access an individual's hydro
electricity records if suspected of operating a marijuana grow-op.
B.C. Hydro spokes-person Tarina Palmer said that B.C. Hydro has
supported the bill for quite a while and agrees that this is a matter
of public safety.
The bill comes after a house containing a grow operation in the
British properties in West Vancouver exploded seriously injuring one on Monday.
