BIBLE SAYS TO ACCEPT CANNABIS WITH THANKFULNESS
Editor,
Not only does God, the ecologican, indicate he created all the
seed-bearing plants saying they are all good in the first book of
Genesis (letter published on-line Jan. 24, "Leviticus doesn't forbid
the use of marijuana), it's literally the very first page of the
Bible. That's no accident. The only biblical restriction placed on
cannabis (marijuana) is to accept it with thankfulness (1 Timothy
4:1-5). It also predicts cannabis prohibition before it occurs and
describes the type of people who will do the evil.
Those who support or enable government caging or killing humans for
using or growing what God says is good, are sinning starting on the
very first page.
It's especially an eye opener when churches that profess the name of
God and The Christ, Jesus, support stumbling starting on the first
page of the Bible and teach their flocks to do the same. By time they
get to page three, with the lessons of killing and murder, they are lost.
As the Christ, Jesus requests us to love one another in John 14-16,
we can not love someone and cage them for using what God says is good
at the same time.
Further, biblically, cannabis prohibition is known as the "Sin of the
Priests" (the subtitle of Malachi 1:6-14, NASB), where failed clergy
say the "table of the Lord" is "defiled" and "to be despised."
Cannabis prohibition and extermination is the biblical root of all problems.
