NO GANGS, NO VICTIMS
THE EDITOR:
Ed Schellenberg is another victim of prohibition. Prohibition of drugs
benefits only the criminals, just like the prohibition of alcohol did
in the '30s.
How many more innocent people must die before we stop giving criminals
control of drug distribution?
Nixon's war on drugs has created such a large criminal gang system.
Canada needs to assert it's independence and stop supporting the U.S.'
ineffective wars. End prohibition and you end the need for gangs to
exist. End prohibition and you can then treat drug addicts, instead of
letting gangs push drug consumption.
No gangs means no more innocent victims.
