DRUG TESTING FOR LAW OFFICERS?
In regard to the arrest of Bakersfield Police Officer Ofelio Lopez on
drug possession charges: Wow, what a scary situation. He's allegedly
using meth and legally allowed to carry a gun? This is such an evil
drug. It makes you think that people are out to get you. I know.
Someone very close to me is addicted to it. It destroys everyone
involved, especially the children.
What if this officer thought his partner or someone he was arresting
was trying to hurt him and he pulls his gun shoots and kills them? I'm
sure he would be fired then. This drug plays tricks on your mind. If
he is convicted, get him out. We're supposed to be able to trust and
depend on officers of the law. When the meth addict in my life stayed
at my house, I slept with my bedroom door locked.
What happened to random drug tests? I'm in the medical field. We still
do it!
