WHY ARE WE WASTING MONEY ON DRUG BEDS?

EDITOR, THE TIMES:

I read in the April 3 Province newspaper about a proposal for adding
30 sleeping rooms at the supervised injection site in Vancouver.

I want to know what is wrong with our society that we have to waste
our money on crap like this?

What's next, opening brothels and offering 30 rooms for the johns to
rest up after their few minutes of fun?

What I don't understand is why the government spends money on stuff
that's not needed.

What about the animals that need shelters and help? It is society who
makes too many animals in society.

People who are addicts or work the corners make that choice.

Everyone knows the consequences to their actions. Why should they be
supported by government for their stupidity?

I am tired of the people we elect to run the province helping those
who self inflict themselves and not helping the helpless or animals.

When are we going to elect the right people to run our province? This is sick.
